MY LIFE IN PANORAMA
I was born in 1947 and am now in my late 70’s so my memoirs cover a lot of material as follows:
CHILDHOOD– Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, and Colorado
MILITARY SERVICE– Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri, Ft. Devens Massachusetts, National Security Agency, Chitose on Hokkaido, Japan, and Sinop, Turkey.
AWAY FROM MILITARY– Near the end of my time in the military, I took one month’s leave to Mykonos, Greece. When I was discharged from the military, I spent nine months with my parents in Lawrence, Kansas, preparing to leave for university in Japan.
UNIVERSITY– I returned to Japan to attend university in Tokyo and then graduate school in Hawaii
EARNING A LIVING– Iran, Illinois, and Saudi Arabia
TRAVEL– England, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Paris, Italy, Switzerland, and China
EARLY RETIREMENT– beginning with a stop in Boston, England, and then settling in Texas and visiting Boston and Plymouth, MA
UNITED NATIONS– working in Manhattan and living in Queens
RE-RETIREMENT– returning to Texas, caring for grandsons, visiting Japan & dreaming of more travel
