Works-in-Progress

I will self-publish two books from a series titled TWO BOSTONS: Book One, A TALE OF TWO BOSTONS, is due out year-end 2025. Book Two is BOSTON’S FOUNDING GENERATION.

A TALE OF TWO BOSTONS tells the story of men from Boston, Lincolnshire, who played a pivotal role in founding the Massachusetts Bay Company. Between the Mayflower’s sailing in 1620 and the English Civil Wars in 1640, approximately 20,000 individuals migrated from England to America during the Great Migration. Though less than 1% of these immigrants originated from the Boston, Lincolnshire area, Boston Men served as Governor and Deputy Governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony for all but four of its fifty-six-year existence. It also tells the story of how the company began as a resistance against the Force Loan that Charles I imposed on English landholders to finance his uncle, the King of Denmark, in the Thirty Years’ War.

The second book in the series, TWO BOSTONS, is currently in development as BOSTON’S FOUNDING GENERATION and will profile those men and women who contributed to the founding of the Massachusetts Bay Colony and the city of Boston.

Come, O Come, Emmanuel: The Impact of Emmanuel College, Cambridge, on the Founding of America tells how graduates of Cambridge University’s Emmanuel College helped shape early America.

Lincolnshire’s Great Migration, 1620-1640, details 256 individuals from Lincolnshire who emigrated to New England between 1620 and 1640.

Also in development for 2026 are: SURFING SPACETIME and THE POETIC LIFE OF IZUMI SHIKIBU.
